転職と副業のかけ算を読んで
It feels weird because the title is kinda H.W. back in elementary school as a kid though.
タイトルが夏休みの宿題みたいで変な感じですが。
A book I have been really interested in has lastly come out. The title is “Multiplication of job-change and second work” （I’m sorry for moto-san because I put an English title without permission. I just tried.）
最近、心待ちにしていた本がついに出版された。その本とは「転職と副業のかけ算」だ。（勝手に英語のタイトルつけてしまってすみません。とりあえずそのまま英語にしてみました。）
The author is moto-san, which is a handle name on his twitter and his popularity had been astonishing even before the book came out.
著者はmotoさん。motoさんというのはツイッター上での彼のアカウント名で、もともと、この本が出る前からものすごい認知度と影響力のある人だった。
At first what is interesting is that after graduating the community college he chose do-it-yourself homecenter as a first career with ¥2,400,000 annual income even though he got other offers of big companies that they were gonna pay him more. He just took them down. But he had a plan. He thought that it was the best idea to choose the home center job to maximize his income on a long term basis through job change.
まず面白いのはmotoさんは短大を卒業した後、一番最初のキャリアとして年収240万円で地元のホームセンターに就職したことだ。そのほかにも大手企業から内定をもらっていたにもかかわらず、だ。でも彼にはプランがあった。長期的な視点で年収を最大化していくためには、ホームセンターを選ぶことがベストな選択だと考えたのだ。ここがおもしろい。
He went through a hard time there though, he always kept doing all kinds of stuff to sell more. He got a lot of damn from his colleagues because he looked like a kind of perky even though he was just junior man at that time. He never gave in anyway and it was totally successful for the store.
そこではさまざまな困難があった。でもあらゆる工夫をして努力を続けた。しかしそうやって精力的に働くことで、新人のくせにと生意気に映った職場の先輩から嫌味を言われたりもしたらしい。しかし、彼は決して屈せず店の売り上げに大きく貢献したのだ。
Also he had been transmitting this and that about job from the beginning of his career on his blog and it kinda went viral in a moment because the contents are so valuable to all the job-seeking student. A company offered to buy his blog and he started a new career at that company at the same time. His annual income became ¥3,300,000. In this way, he keeps doing all he can do and step up his game where he earns as much as like ¥10,000,000 for now.
そして、そのころからブログを通して就活についての情報を発信し始めた。就活生にとってとても有意義なコンテンツを発信し続けたため、そのブログは飛躍的にバズった。そしてある会社がそのブログを買いたいとオファーを出し、同時にその会社に転職した。ここで年収は330万円になった。このように、これまで彼は常にあらゆる努力を続け、転職を繰り返した今の年収は1000万円だという。
Another thing you should be amazed is he’s making money like ¥40,000,000 mainly by his blog, which is all about his experiences. That’s the most important part. He says all employed workers have to do is to make your total income maximize by the means of being what we Japanese call “salary-man” making efforts to get your value better and a second job.
もうひとつ驚くべきことが、なんと副業としての年収が4000万円だというのだ。そのもとは主に彼の知見を書いたブログから。これがこの本のもっとも重要なところで、これからはサラリーマンとしての自分の市場価値を高めつづけることと本業から得たノウハウ等を発信することなどで、トータルの収入を最大化していくことを考えるべきだというのが彼の提案だ。

I’m seriously thinking about changing my career right now. I summarize some points I got from his book for just a note.
僕も現在真剣に転職を考えている身なので非常に役に立った。以下、ポイントを読後のメモとして。
・Make your value at the market get higher through doing your best at your present job.
今の仕事をおろそかにするのではなく、工夫を続け自分の市場価値を高め続ける努力をすること。
・Keep your eyes on the websites about career change or whatever to catch up the latest situation.
転職サイト等を日常的にチェックし、市場の動向をつかんでおく。
・Build up your bland and have multiple channels to earn money.
収入源として複数のチャネルを持つこととセルフブランディングをしていくこと。
If you ever have thought about job change or a second job, I highly recommend this book.
転職や副業について考えたことがあるなら、とてもおすすめの本だ。
